North Berwick Community Council on lookout for new member

North Berwick Community Council is seeking a new member to join the group following the resignation of Gordon Moodie.

Mr Moodie had been a community councillor since 2015 and was appointed to the role of vice-chairman prior to his resignation.

The group is now looking for a hard-working and dedicated individual to join who has enough spare time to give back to the community.

Applicants must be 16 or over and reside, work, own/lease property or be registered as a local government elector for the last 12 months within the North Berwick Community Council area. They should also be interested in promoting the wellbeing of the community and fostering community spirit.

Additionally, community council members’ objectives are to ascertain, co-ordinate and reflect the views of the community and fairly express the diversity of opinions and outlooks of the people.

For more information and to express an interest in joining, people should contact the secretary at [email protected]
