North Berwick: Break-in and incident at pub among police callouts
A report on the police incidents affecting North Berwick in the month of December has been presented to members of North Berwick Community Council.
Over the period officers reported that there were no significant road safety issues in the period since the last meeting.
However, two incidents of anti-social behaviour were noted.
Police were requested to attend The Auld Hoose on Sunday, December 18 due to a heavily intoxicated male refusing to leave causing a nuisance. Officers attended, no crimes were reported andf the man was taken home.
Officers were also made aware of a report of a group smoking cannabis nearby to Clifford Road on the December, 31.
Police attended however no persons were traced and the local community officer was made aware and will keep an eye on the area.
A housebreaking was also recorded in the early hours of Wednesday, December 7.
The home was broken into in North Berwick and two vehicles were stolen. A 20-year-old man was arrested and has been charged in relation to the incident.
Finally 91 parking tickets were issued by the East Lothian Parking wardens in North Berwick during the month of November.
