Musselburgh: A1 slip road to QMU to close again for resurfacing works
The A1 slip road to Queen Margaret University will be closed from Monday (February 6) until next Friday (February 10) as part of ongoing carriageway improvements.
A diversion route will be in place along the B16415, Stoneybank Terrace and Whitehill Farm Road.
The carriageway improvements are part of ongoing work on the newly formed on-slip road.

Works have been undertaken by JP Construction and were originally scheduled to conclude last December but it was announced in September of last year that works were delayed until March.
A new on-slip was created at the university to provide greater access to the A1.
A 40mph speed restriction was also put in place last month at the QMU junction from the East Lothian Council boundary to Old Craighall junction which covers a distance of about 1.6km.
The restriction is in place until May to avoid having to re-advertise restrictions in case of delays to the works.
Drivers should take care and drive responsibly while restrictions are in place.
