Gate at Neilson Park damaged in ‘some incident with vehicle’
GATES at the entrance to a popular Haddington park will need repaired after they were damaged, potentially by a vehicle.
East Lothian Council were unsure how the gates at Neilson Park, off Mill Wynd, were struck.
However, it is presumed “some incident with a vehicle” had led to them being taped shut for safety this morning (Wednesday).
A spokesperson for the local authority said: “It will of course be repaired in due course but I can’t advise a date at this stage.”
