The church members were united to mark the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

The service, led by members of Spott Church, filled the church with song.

A spokesperson for the event said: “It was a lovely, warm occasion on a cold winter afternoon.

“Last June, our Midsummer Evening Songs of Praise attracted a similar number, and on Christmas Eve, every pew was filled at our ‘Carols & Christingle’ afternoon service as families gathered to hear the familiar words of the Christmas story and children enjoyed making Christingles.”
